You know that feeling when your first born moves out? It's kind of nice but still not. You have been looking forward to having your home the way you want it but at the same time wondering if your gonna miss his or her stuff all over the place...
Well this happened to me... oh well us, today. Today is the day when our eldest joined the army. For how long? According to the instructions 347 days. Here he is in the sign up tent, digging for his ID and certificate of service. He has been placed in the battle ship company, exactly where he aimed. Next time this "hen mum" gets to see her little boy is on Saturday 13th of August when the conscripts take their oath to serve and protect.
However, we will survive this, you over there and me over here!
