Spring party at daycare

This year the spring party at the daycare was celebrated in crispy sun shine. At least it didn't rain !

All the kids were gathered in front of the waiting parents. Both excited and nervous they sang so beautifully that I felt my eyes get kind of wet. 

My handsome almost 5 year old was so excited and he was standing beside his very best friend, Alexander. They were playing and goofing around and singing of course. The goof was keeping his hands in his pockets and singing loud and clear, sometimes even a sentence before the others.

After the formalities, where the pre-school kids were thanked and got their rose, the parents thanked the daycare personnel. Then it was time for a bit of coffee and cake as well as it was time for theatre inside the gymnastics room. This was the time we realized that we could leave and get home in the warmth of our house. The kids tried to oppose but we just had to go. I was freezing.
