today I want to show you few pictures of our boat. It is a hunting rigged sailing boat with a history in the waters in the Aaland archipelago where it was a freight boat. See a description of it here. It was built in 1950 in Sottunga. In 1986 my FIL bought it and started a huge renovation. He re-built it to hold 6 beds, a small kitchenette with a stove a refrigerator, dining table fitting up to 20 persons and a small toilet with 300 lit septic tank. She can be sailed and with favorable winds she can make approximately 7-8 knots.
She is 60 ft high, 5 meters wide and depth 1,8 meters. She is a heavy old lady, weighing approximately 30 tons
She is our cabin, our summer house, tent… what ever and we can take her where ever we like. Here is some pictures of her, Delfin.
